Maps

I recently booked a holiday to Majorca and just for some general knowledge checked it out on a map, when looking at the image above i began to think about maps in general and how much imagery is added such as lines and markers and also how the countries all connect almost like a jigsaw, i would like to play with the idea of maps later on as i feel i could use it within my experimentation.
{Almost like mapping the body in textiles or re-arranging the map of the body in ceramics by rearranging the forms as mentioned before...}
